Daring Faith- The Key To Miracles

 What Is Faith

What is Faith? Hebrews 11:1 says “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” What does this passage mean? What is it that we’re hoping for that we cannot see? In this message, Pastor Bob talks about Faith as we kick off a new series called: “Daring Faith – The Key to Miracles”

Get Ready For A Miracle

A lot of Faith is a lot of Blessing, a little Faith is a little Blessing, No Faith? No Blessing! Did you know that God can work Miracles? Jesus certainly did when he fed the five thousand. In this sermon, Pastor Bob talks about Miracles and Mark 6:30-44. Are you Ready for a Miracle?

Daring To Believe

The continuous exercise of our faith in Jesus Christ is the most important, and sometimes the most difficult thing that God wants us to do. To do that, requires us to believe the Jesus Christ is our Sustainment; our Living Bread. In this next sermon, “Daring To Believe” pastor Terry “triple-dog dares” us to believe in Him Whom God has sent.

Daring To Imagine

A truly remarkable gift God has given us is imagination. Imagination is the ability to think and create using mental pictures. Nothing comes into reality until we first think it up. Physical structures, music, art, everything created by man starts with imagination. Imagination can be used to create good and to create evil. In this message, we look at six specific areas where imagination intersect our Christian walk and can potentially impact our faith.

Daring To Give God My Best

In this message, Pastor Bob talks about what the Bible says about doing our best, rather than wasting our life. We’ll get some analogies that will give us an idea on how to do that. Those analogies are Soldiers, Athletes and Farmers.

Daring To Plant In Faith

The Bible frequently makes comparisons of the Christian life to the process of farming. A farmer will sow or plant seeds with the expectation that they will eventually reap a harvest. In the Christian life, we sow God’s values and principles with the expectation that we will reap a spiritual harvest of blessing in our life and the lives of others. In this message, we discuss 10 principles that govern the spiritual law of sowing and reaping. If we understand the type of seeds we are planting we can better understand the type of harvest to expect.

Daring To Commit

Why is it that some of us have a hard time committing to some things? When we do commit, we find it easy to back out when someone does not recognize our efforts or perhaps when someone is critical of our work we feel it is no longer worth the effort. Perhaps we’re the type that thinks about making the commitment so long that we never do it because we don’t want to miss something better that might come along. This message will help us understand the keys to making good commitments that will fulfill God’s purpose for us and meet our greatest needs, both at the same time.

Daring To Be Generous

When we are generous to others with what we have, it shows that we trust God. We believe God will continue to provide our needs regardless of what we give away. Why do we think that? Because that is what God tells us in His Word. When we believe and act on what God tells us, it is a demonstration of faith. When we’re not generous with what we have we’re really saying that we don’t believe God is going to take care of us. We’re not going to have enough for ourselves, which causes us anxiety, worry and fearful. That is all based in unbelief.  This message will help us understand how through generosity we can actually gain more.

Daring To Wait On God

How do you feel when you have to wait – wait on hold, wait in traffic, or wait for an answer? Have you every been in a hurry and God was not? Any of those situations can be very, very frustrating. Some of you may be in that situation right now – in “God’s Waiting Room.” In this message, we evaluate two important questions related to waiting. First, what are some of the reasons God puts us in the Waiting Room? And secondly, what are we supposed to do while we are in the Waiting Room?

Daring To Go In Faith

We often find Jesus using two words, “Come” and “Go.” In one case, Jesus used these words and illustrated a concept in a story about a great feast. The master instructed the servant to go and delivery the invitations to the feast. However, some of those who were invited declined to come to the feast and offered poor excuses. The master told the servant to compel them to come – the lame, the blind, everybody! Who might you be in this story?
